Comments Thread For: Andre Ward: Golovkin 'Literally Just Showed Up To Get A Check' Against Canelo

Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) was a rough and rugged fighter during his heyday, and his fierce style has transitioned behind the microphone as an analyst for ESPN in the retirement phase of his career.

Andre didn't even do that. He retired in order to avoid GGG and he's having trouble living with it. Now all he can do is try to discredit GGG and bury his name in hopes that people will forget Andre coWard retired rather than face GGG.

WTF are you even talking about? YDKSAB. He spent his entire career at SMW and LHW while GGG spent his entire career at MW.

Andre was hella mad during shakurs last fight each time they critiqued shakur he’d glare over at the co announcers. Man, has a serious conflict of interest never quite understood why they let him talk during shakur matches. He’s got a financial interest in the kid and Andre ain’t ever been one to deal well with criticism even about himself.

I am disappointed. It turns out that Ward is a small and petty man. I expected better from a champion. To accuse Golvokin of essentially throwing the fight is a serious charge and beyond the pale. As for Canelo not knocking out GGG, no one has! In all his amateur and professional, no one has even knocked GGG down, much less knocked him out. Besides that, Canelo fought with an injured hand which requires surgery before his next fight. Rather than giving these two champions their due credit. Ward thinks he is elevating himself by tearing other people down. Think again!

Don't know who's telling the truth about who was ducking who, but didn't see anything else from Ward to disagree with, here.

Ward talking about records, he fought nobodies. Joe Calzaghe would have stopped ward easy
