Andrade just has no ambition. Simple as. He could've fought the Japanese dude, set up other fights. Fought Montiel and beat Montiel clearer than Charlo to cause a discussion. But Andrade didn't do that. He's only championed the Canelo fight which is as dumb as a say Paulie Malignaggi calling for a Pacquiao fight back in 2015. Or whenever it was that he fought Amir Khan. Andrade sat on his ass, took mandatories, fought club boxers and thought he was making a name for himself doing it. If that isn't delusion, I don't know what is.

I know boxing is hard (I did it and chose a different life route) but Andrade had a choice in all his matters. He could've walked through the fire like Spence did at 147 or Jermell at 154, Canelo at 168 (albeit the fire was lukewarm) but instead tried to finesse the public into thinking he was doing great things by beating cans and weasel his way into a money fight with canelo rather than beat Lara, beat the Japanese guy, and do some things actually noteworthy.
I understood you until you talked about Spence, Jermell, and Canelo.

All 3 of those guys have had the red carpet rolled out for them.

Spence & Charlo have had Al Haymon serving up big fights for them for tons of money, which is why they fight so infrequently

And Canelo has basically been able to do whatever the hell he's wanted for the past decade, while getting gift decisions along the way.

I don't know why Andrade didn't take the Charlo fight, so that may be on him, but after that, most of his problems are solely on boxing's fxcked up political structure.

You’re still trying to defend him! His decisions are akin to killing your own parents then crying because you’re an orphan. That’s 100% poo poo in a nutshell. Most of his problems are 100% HIS DOING and no one else. He’s waited for the Canelo payday and hasn’t fought a world champion in 14 years.

        That statement speaks volumes.
Damn shame, super talented fighter but his career has been disappointment after disappointment... Lot of its down to straight bad luck and the old risk / reward problem, but some of it has to be laid on poor choices too.

You don't think Andrade could've gotten a fight with Lara or Murata before GGG got to him?

I'd be surprised if there were politics around Lara or Murata for Andrade. It wouldn't have been super fights for him. Moderate reward, moderate risk type fights. But beating Lara or taking Murata's strap would've gotten him plenty of clout. He'd be sitting with the WBO and WBA straps but the man never went for it for whatever reason.

Murata had the strap since 2019. Andrade fought in 2020 and 2021. There was plenty of time and opportunity for Andrade to get that but he didn't even try (as far as it being in public view)

None of the champions have wanted to fight him.

            Canelo could've fought him at 154, 160, & 168

He'd fight Rocky Fielding and Anvil Yildrim so he can win all the belts, but won't fight an actually talented, slick Black fighter like Andrade because Lara & Mayweather made him look bad

He beat Lara, he beat Plant a slick fighter, he beat BJS a slick fighter, he beat Danny Jacob’s who many thought beat GGG another slick fighter (oh and he’s black), he beat Mosley and Trout other slick black boxers who were skilled and talented. But let’s not let those pesky little things we like to call facts get in the way of a good old fashioned emotional tirade eh?

So repeat after me, Poo Poo hasn’t fought a world champion in FOURTEEN YEARS….no one is avoiding Poo Poo. That speaks volumes

He didn't beat Lara (in my opinion), BJS is a fraud, and Jacobs isn't slick. Just because he's Black doesn't make him slick.

Moseley was 40 when he fought him and wasn't slick anymore.

And him & Trout went life & death. And Trout aint slick. What are you on?

Mayweather's the last slick Black fighter he fought and that was 9 years ago.

Fact is, you can't give me one reason Rocky Fielding and Anvil Yildrim are more deserving of fights than Andrade.

                Not 1.

Speak with the sanctioning bodies on that but Fielding was the WBA regular SMW champ. Yildrim fought for the vacant WBC SMW title that ended due to clash of heads. Poo Poo has had a murderers row of competition even LESS THAN Fielding’s and Yildrim’s competition yet according to you poo poo deserves the nod. Eh? Huh?

Andrade was the champion at 154 and 160 at the same time as Canelo was.

Yet, you're saying it was more important to fight for a regular belt and a "contender" than it was to try to unify with Andrade, when Canelo went and got the belt that Andrade had at 154 AFTER Andrade moved up to 160.

Just admit he's ducking him and move on.

There's ZERO competitive excuse to fight those dudes over a guy who's been a champion in the same divisions as you at the same time as you.

I'm not saying Andrade has made all of the best decisions, but unlike Canelo, he can't make guys fight him.
