Benavides would destroy Berlanga, Munguia fight is more competitive but I think Munguia would beat Berlanga as well.

Either fight is a cross-promotion, so why would one be easier than the other? We've seen PBC and TR do work with Wilder vs. Fury. It took an order from WBA to force Bivol fight Zurdo, on the same network.

Berlanga is a typical modern day picker and chooser. Boxing today is full of these types. They say, "I wanna fight "this one". "This one", is usually one of the following types: (a smaller guy, old guy with a name, guy just coming off of a loss or an injury, guy training for another fight, someone who has been inactive, guy who can't punch), but they never mention "That one". "That one" is usually one of the following types: (young, strong, in shape, tough, punches hard, same size not smaller, skilled).
James Toney used to always say, "I'll fight anyone, anywhere, anytime". This type is rare in boxing today. David Benavidez is certainly one of those types. Boots Ennis is another. I'm sure there are more, but those two stand out in my mind, because they say it all the time

Mungia is a bigger star.. making more money and selling more tickets..

Berlanga has alot of work to do at this point, he was talking about Canelo not long ago..

he needs to shut up and work on his damn self

John Ryder, Jaime Munguia, David Benavidez, and or Saul Alvarez, now that's a career path for Edgar Berlanga, to pursue.
If he leave's out Benavidez from the mix it make's it seem as if he's avoiding him, win, lose, or draw, they're the type of fights a real fighter take's.
The skeptic's questioned his chin, then his stamina, and now his opposition, he's got 20 fights, and 56 round's of experience.
It's time for him to fight those name fighters mentioned in this post reply, that's one of the best path's forward, win, lose, or draw.
Those guy's would force Berlanga, to give it his all in order to win, and I definitely want to to see how he does against these fighter's.

It doesn't matter who win's these fight's, what matter's is that they finally fight each other, this is boxing there shouldn't be any special treatment for anyone.

I don't think I have ever said anything good about Munguia but out of the 2, Munguia has actually improved since moving up and gaining experience. Everytime I see Berlanga he seems like his potential maxed with his last KO.

Arum is on record as saying he can easily work with oscar on fights which is the opposite of what he says about PBC. People point to the wilder fight, but there difference is wilder is managed by shelly finkel. Haymon doesn't have anywhere near the control over him that he does other fighters in his stable.

Nobody sees a fight for Berlanga and Benavidez, please man. There’s levels to this game.

it's always been Munguia with a size advantage. But he's just much better so I think Munguia takes him.
