To be a good world class fighter, all you have to do is beat another world class fighter.

To be a very good fighter, you have to accumulate 5 points. You can beat 5 good world class fighters. You can beat an ATG and a world class fighter to get the 5. It doesn't matter how you do it.

To be an ATG you have to accumulate 11 points.

I give it as a great win when you beat a very good fighter (3 points) and use the 2 points rarely and only for wins that are better than good, but not strong enough to be great. Like Tyson over Spinks for example. He isn't a natural Heavy, but it's better than a 1 point win as he did beat Holmes twice. Another would be Cotto over Mosley. Again, stronger than a 1 point win, but not strong enough for a 3 point great win as Mosley wasn't at his best any more. He dipped quite clearly after the Forrest defeats.

I suppose you could give 1 point for a world class win, 2 points for a win over a very good fighter, and just jump to the 4 points for a win over an ATG. However, i ran into problems when it came to ranking those fights i gave as an example. Under this system, they'd have to be just the 1 point. Either way works for me though.
