I'm not a Mayweather hugger or hater, just curious if anyone felt like this probably would have dropped Mayweather. Cause the ropes were there so there was no give for his head to turn. Good punch by both. This must be the ****in machete that Nacho was talkin about haha

you don't see that often. It rocks him but doesn't knock him down

Not at all. Mayweather hit Marquez so close to the point when Marquez's punch impacted that it was negligible and as such the punch was the same as it would have been if Mayweather hadn't countered. So no it wouldn't have done **** to Mayweather he's been hit with far harder punches on the face by guys far bigger than Marquez and he didn't blink.

Floyd leaned back against the ropes and rolled the punch to remove the sting.

                He's a defensive genius!

nah, that was one of the few instances where the extra weight helped Mayweather out. being bigger, Marquez's shots didnt do nearly as much to him if it was a lower weight class. his body shots didnt seen to do anything either.

Marquez followed up with another landed flush right hand after that, and Mayweather looked ok.

poor Marquez, it was basically his only moment in the fight.

I'm surprised Marquez didn't drop from that
