Don't be a numpty. Why would anyone think that the reasons people dislike Wilder have anything to do with his skin colour? He is very good at coming across uneducated and arrogant. That's it. Ruiz is kind of slow footed but other than that I give him a decent chance.

I don't think Deontay's so easily demoralized because he uses self confidence like a tool. Unlike Joshua, whose been praised since his debut, Wilder's got a chip on his shoulder, something to prove, and all his talk of greatness is a self contained vessel - he builds himself up not fans or media. That said, this article is an admission he couldn't rebuild himself and wouldn't be back if bama fans and media didn't show him some love so definitely could be too far demoralized to have rebuilt true belief.

I've never thought Josh has much chance against Fury. Fury destroys robots like his name is Mega Man. Hearn's a pretty smart fella, probably keeps Joshua away from any real challenges for a while.
