Not a good look for Andrade, and he apparently pulled out of a fight with one of the Charlo brothers years ago.

If that's true, well, it does look bad, although it could be his manager or promoter's fault.

He might be hoping for a Canelo fight, which seems highly unlikely that he'd get that.

Frank Warren gets exactly what he deserves for outsmarting himself and pulling the pennywise-pound foolish move. He should have bid the same $1.8 million he did the first time around and view it as a worthwhile investment in keeping Parker’s career on track and possibly getting a big win l his resume. Warren could have easily thrown Andrade-Parker as the main undercard fight for Fury-Charr and make it a card more people would be willing to buy. Instead Warren tries to be slick with a ridiculous trolling lowball offer that he wrongly assumed Andrade had no choice to accept. Dumb move

Why would he bid $1.8m? His 100k bid went unopposed. Nobody else was interested in paying this guy. Nobody. His record of messing people around speaks volumes to people who dont like to waste money.

Would do nothing for him as opposed to what? Serious question. What else is lined up for Andrade that is better than beating a Ring top 10 168 fighter.

As sad as it sounds for a 35 year old boxer, Zack Parker would have been a top 3 win if Andrade beat him. Zanibek would have been his best win.

Hell, Andrade’s excuse for not fighting Lara because he’s “boring and won’t come to fight.” That would have been his best win.

As a matter of fact, his best win to date would have been if he didn’t pull out of the Charlo fight with 3 weeks to go, and beat him.

So, again, Parker/WBO Interim title does nothing for him as opposed to what else? Zack Parker is actually right in line with an Andrade type of opponent. Parker is actually right up Andrade’s alley. Parker is the type of fighter Andrade prefers.

Except time that type of opponent was an actual top 10 contender, ranked #6 by The Ring. It’s actually a winnable fight for Andrade, stylistically. But I guess #6 is too high of a rank for Andrade. He prefers a top 15-20 contender.
