just like Eric Morales, he was never the same after Raheem. I foresee him going into retirement or becoming shot in his next fight. What you guys think....comment jizz drinkers
Marquez will be just gine. Morales didn't go up to fight Mayweather, and if he did, Morales would have been KOed. It was marquez's defense that allowed him to survive.
I don't think he was terribly hurt. He did take a couple of shots...but nothing dramatic...imo. Was he mentally broken down by Mayweather? I don't think so...I think he assessed his performance post interview pretty well. Possibly a fight or two maybe three at that Welter weight might have been better for Marquez...but a loss is a loss...
Still a warrior.
Marquez is coming to the end of his career anyway, he is already faded. 50+ fights, late 30's, he hasn'g got long left. I would imagine the wars he had with Pacquiao took more out of him than the Mayweather fight.

JMM is a badass. And he didn't take a knee, like Cotto.
Floyd wasn't trying to hurt JMM {And he could have} He basically wanted to beat him convincingly. ....... That's ALL.
This wasn't one of those fights where "I'm gonna **** this guy up good" No, both PBF and JMM has great respect for each other ..... So, no need to seriously hurt a guy that clearly cannot compete with you.
Especially since JMM has a wife & three kids to feed ..... What kinda ****head would try to seriously hunt JMM .... even if you could.
That guy, would dominate JMM. JMM can't handle a defensive minded fighter, his techinques don't work against him, he only beat warriors, and Casamayor, who was 36 or 37 years old or something and Casa is only a jabber.
