You could look at it that way. But in reality, what does Dzinziruk offer to them? Plus, two champions at 154 are Argentine and Puerto Rican, and Dzinziruk beat Santos. Other than that, Spinks just won, and he's (Sergiy) the other titlist. So having said that, who, in his own division, is ducking him that is a champion, American and ducking him?

I think Dzinziruk is probably in the top three at 154, but Universum has a habit of babying some of their fighters (i.e. Zsolt Erdei).

His departure from them is a great step though.

moving up to face the #1 fighter at 160lbs instead of fighting a an alphabet belt holder at 154lbs doesnt sound like ducking to me. but thats my opinion.

Williams moved up for the payday fight, he doesnt seem too interested in staying in any division to prove he is the best in that once spot, correct me if Im wrong but he has defended his title once? He floats around for low risk fights waiting to get the payday. No clue how he got the Pavlik fight unless the Pavlik camp saw it as a high reward low risk fight.
