He's a star who fights stiffs
Because they are all with Top Rank/ESPN and he fights for PBC/Showtime. Stop acting like you don't know why he doesn't fight these guys. Should he have to switch promoter, take short money and fight in Australia to get a shot at these dudes when he is the absolute star of his division. Me thinks not...
enjoy his waste of a career while guys like Haney and Stevenson fight everyone in and around their weight classes

Great fight! I think the fight is all about angles and timing. If either can control the timing, they are likely to win. If Loma’s angle mastery can make an impact, he has a significant advantage. I sure would love to see Shakur be forced to get a bit nasty.
I see it going the distance and Shakur winning by a very close margin.Comment

That's correct but I'm going off by who they actually beat. Herring had to be one of the weakest champs in the sport. Tank jumping up 2 weight classes to beat a top 10 140 pounder is more impressive for example. Valdez and Robson are solid but I've seen way too many fights where they are completely average and in danger of losing. Pedraza, LSC and Cruz are basically on the same level as those guys.
If Tank fights and beats Ryan Garcia, that will by far be the best win between them. However, I suspect Shakur will get the Loma fight eventually and probably beat him.
I favor Shakur to beat Tank anyway, Shakur is the better fighter.Last edited by mcdonalds; 09-25-2022, 04:00 PM.Comment

Lomo will duck Shakur. I seriously doubt that fight happens next. His ready made excuses will be:
A) Shakur doesn't hold any belts at 135 so why should he face him.
B) He's been "fighting" in a war and needs a few more tune-ups vs cab drivers.Comment
