people question is heart, but that’s never been a problem in my opinion. He just lacks assertiveness at times but I’m not sure that would’ve helped much and he did try.
Great guy but it’s debatable how good he actually is I think. In his last 3 fights he sc****d past Fa who got iced by old man Lucas Browne in one round. Then he arguably lost to a shot Chisora and then beat him.
I think he has some good attributes but not close to being a top level fighter now.

I think he's still a top 10 HW, but I question Andy Lee's tactics.
Going in heavy and trying to brawl with Joyce is a recipe for disaster, you have to box and move against this guy.

Yeah 255 wasn’t the best move. I think they banked way too much on Joyce being easy to hit.
Joyce does have deceptively quick feet and cuts of the ring well, so maybe they felt moving too much was only going to invite pressure anyway and instead try to stand ground more and find openings. I can kind of see the logic in that to a degree, and I think there’s elements of that needed but not at the expense of your fighter being at a weight he can’t carry without getting tired after 2 rounds and stripping some of his best attributes.
I wanna see him against somebody like Zhang, Hrgovic, Bakole to make sure how much is it left in him. Since his controversial loss to Whyte he fought Chisora twice and many bums.

True, and perhaps they thought that they wouldn't win a decision on a Queensberry card unless they put it on Joyce.
