Comments Thread For: Terri Harper Outclasses Hannah Rankin, Claims WBA/IBO Junior Middleweight Titles In Nottingham

Terri Harper continued the invasion of former junior lightweights ruling the 154-pound division. A brilliant performance was turned in by the 25-year-old Harper, who became a two-division titlist following a ten-round, unanimous decision win over Hannah Rankin. Scores of 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93 all landed in favor of Harper who claims the WBA/IBO junior middleweight titles in Saturday's DAZN co-feature from Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England.

Not seen it but not surprised even in the sparring clip she was being taken to school by Harper.

That cut was from a headbutt but I don't think the outcome would've been any different Rankin was extremely limited she landed maybe 4 good punches the entire fight.

This really shows how **** and how much of lack depth there is in these women's divisions in the higher weight classes. That girls can move up 3-4 weight divisions 20+ pounds heavier an just batter and school these women. After about weltweight women's boxing is a wasteland apart from shields/marshall

I said 3 years ago that Rankin didn't belong in a professional ring, by all means Hannah use boxing as a pastime and an activity in your life but please don't fight as a pro boxer again. McCaskill is the same, doesn't belong in a professional ring.

She is. She always loses to any semi decent fighter she gets in the ring with.

The fact she can even hold a world title shows how bad womens boxing is. She has zero ability.

you’ve only got to look at how old and poor the other title holders are in the division
