  • Comments Thread For: Benn to Eubank: You Underachieved; What Have You Actually Done at the Age of 33?

Conor Benn thinks there is an element of pretense to Chris Eubank Jr.'s record. In a recent interview, Benn, the rising welterweight, said he is not sold on Eubank's accomplishments in the sport and believes the middleweight contender has long sold a bill of goods to the public that he has never been able to deliver.

What exactly have you done Conor? You haven’t even won a legitimate title. World? No. European? No. Commonwealth? No. British? No. English? No. Southern Area? No.

No fan of Eubank but this is definitely the pot calling the kettle black. The best accolade either of you have is the name you were born with.

Well he did have the guts to call out a 40 year old GGG, so he has that going for him.

Benn was actually right here. Eubank just wasted his whole career, and to prove it - now he's gone down in weight for a pointless fight

Jr. won't being doing any thing beating welterweight Benn either , Jr has been fighting at 168lbs and Benn is 147lbs okay he's recently moved to 160lbs but this fight is purely based on the success of Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank....period!
              A Farce!!

I really agree with you there, he isn't mentioned in anything at SM or MW...I didnt know he was 33....against Groves he looked like he had forgotten to learn to box and George isnt Canelo...I am also disappointed in his career, against Yildrim, who admittedly isnt great either, he was great.

Win or lose against Benn, I wouldnt get your hopes up.

Benn is correct. But on paper Eubanks achieved more than Benn, so would be favourite.
