Comments Thread For: Oscar Valdez Injured; Return Postponed From November 12 Until Date TBD In January

Oscar Valdez's return from his first professional defeat has been delayed. BoxingScene.com has learned that Valdez suffered an undisclosed, non-boxing injury that has prevented him from training recently. That injury has forced the postponement of his comeback bout to an undetermined date in January.

I didn't know he had a fight scheduled for November? Too bad though would have been nice to see reestablish himself at 130 and fight Hector Garcia next.

Xavier Martinez would be a solid comeback opponent.

Valdez poisoned himself. I won't speculate further, how it got there, it was there. He goes from tearing peoples heads off to a slow plodder after the bust. I can't help but feel bad for Berchelt, that KO derailed his career.
