Canelo-Golovkin III bombs at the box office

Not surprising. I hadn't seen fans clamoring for the trilogy for some time now. Golovkin fought four times in the four years since their 2nd fight. DAZN losing money yet again.

Fans have spoken. I'm glad DAZN is losing money on Canelo for this shameful PPV trash. The Benavidez fight would definitely do 800k-1,000,000 and it would be an actual great fight. ****, even a Charlo fight would do way better numbers than this.

Good to hear. DAZN deserves this. I hope every PPV of theirs bombs. They deserve it. I streamed this fight for free.

Based on what? Benavidez has never headlined a PPV and Charlo's only PPV did 100k buys. How well they would do vs Canelo is all speculation, there is no "definitely". If either of them were PPV fighters, they would regularly fight on PPV like Tank or Spence.

I think they would, too. Those are action fights and fresh match ups. The fans have been asking for those fights for a while. Showtime have a big leg up with their experience in the sport and can promote it to a wider audience than DAZN.

Canelo vs Plant did 800,000 buys, didn't it?

PPV era is over. DAZN should return to its free days. They started differently in a good way and then became ordinary.

I don't hate DAZN but it they have a long way to go. I wish they'd fire their commentary crew and do something about their production quality for starters.
