Canelo: just in case embracing GGG gave an appearance of a classy end, I'd like to make a statement...

Would've been epic if Canelo had done that in GGG's face.

As far as GGG, he lost high ground going out of his way to hire the biggest criminal PED dealers under Victor Conte. He'd also been off the testing radar for long stretches for the last few years but he's talking about how he's the one cleaning up the sport lol.
Anyways suffice to say there remains major unsurmounted problems even today which have prevented hair strand testing for Clen entering WADAs protocols... if they had a reliable test they wouldn't need to have a 5 ng/ml level threshold on Clenbuterol urine tests several orders of magnitude above detectability levels - they did that simply because they still have no way of knowing for sure whether Clen detected in urine came from accidentally ingested food contaminants or from deliberate the****utic use. They couldn't tell in 2018 and they still can't tell now.
Understand that the increased threshold does not indicate that the athlete did not knowingly use Clenbuterol as a PED it's merely indicative of the fact that WADA has no means of reliably proving to high degree of probability that they did use Clenbuterol as a PED. Honestly it's a loophole big enough to drive a truck through and represents a virtual invitation for fighters from the countries where there's a high prevalence of Clen contamination in livestock (China, Mexico, Guatamala) to use the substance with virtual impunity, but for whatever reason WADA (and consequently VADA) have elected to err on the side of protecting the innocent over preventing the guilty from gaining the advantages provided by Clenbuterol.
