Comments Thread For: Hearn: Sometimes We Don't Get Credit For Our Fights; We Are Putting On the Biggest Nights
Eddie Hearn feels that his promotional company -- and the fights that they create with their key broadcasting partner -- does not get the recognition it deserves.

They do deserve some credit, some big events indeed.
Of course, Eddie is in promotion mode, but he's one of the best.
We can let it slide, that he said Canelo-GGG 3 would be a war and couldn't possibly go the distance. It did, and perhaps for many a bit of a dud of a fight, but still quite high level.
I think young Munguia and Charlo would've had great difficulty beating Golovkin, even the version we saw. That's because most of those other fighters are not at the high level of GGG and Canelo.
He’s just bitter folks by and large don’t care, has there been big fights attached to him sure of course, kudos to the Serrano Taylor fight at the garden
but that’s not enough for his ego, he wants to dominate and take fighters too, he swore he was taking fighters from other outfits and his matchroom USA roster is still thin
he should be thankful of the blessings he’s been afforded and stfu
He is very good at hype, he uses social media brilliantly and was the first promoter to do so, with the dumbing down of society so many morons get caught up in and believe his hype.
Good luck to him, as the old saying goes, there's one born every minute.

DAZN is by far the weakest boxing platform in America. That’s not to say they don’t ever put on good fights, but as a boxing fan if there’s one channel I had to do without it would very easily be DAZN. If Hearn isn’t getting the credit he deserves it’s probably because Golden Boy is the other promoter on DAZN and they def don’t pull their weight, but Matchroom in itself doesn’t really do a whole lot for the sport IMO.
Firstly never forget this filth promoter said on tv "i don't give a f#ck what the fan's want"
It's the rematchroom fight's nobody wants,
Usyk Aj was a mandatory so no rematchroom clauses but they added a gentleman's agreement so instead of the Usyk Fury undesputed we all wanted we get the petulant meltdown child fight.
Fury Whyte after Whyte woke up on the canvas after being ktfo by dinosaur Pov, another rematchroom fight which should have never happened with Povs leg's going just getting in the ring he was so weakened by covid.
I could go on & on especially with all the shot old man fight's like ggg.
My fear is he's setting presidents like Whyte and now even Joyce, all having rematch clauses for fight's nobody really care about.
Bitd rematches were made after if the fan's wanted it.
I hate the c#nt but i bet though he's a top geeza to go out for a pint with.

He works hard I’ll give him that. He isn’t lazy and is clearly very professionally driven and you canna fault a man for that. These of course are traits of a narcissist which he is. You don’t have lazy narcissists. One can only imagine how boxing could have benefitted had he come over to the usa wanting to forge relationships between dazn and pbc rather than try to push them out of the market. The dazn people didn’t and still don’t know boxing. Hearn could have steered them towards proper relationships. Problem is a man like him wants it all and he wants global recognition for what he’s done. Dazn losing wasn’t supposed to be a good thing. Mo one wants to see ESPN out of boxing, that wouldn’t be good for the sport. No one wants to see Sky out of boxing, that wouldn’t be good for the sport. Truth is Sky and ESPN can coexist with other boxing outlets in the market. Never before has someone come along and intentionally tried to drive another entity out of boxing.
One thing is for sure, this kind of talk isn’t a good sign for the “American takeover” and “global domination.”
if Canelo is truly out for a year, where does that leave matchroom? Even DLH has a limited stable of star power.
