The new generation of boxers ain't that good!!

Canelo vs GGG 3 was boring azz shhiiiet!! GGG forgot how to throw a power punch and canelo aint really do much either... it was a boring fight and a lot of fans consider these 2 guys elite.. this rivalry and trilogy was boring compared to the rest of the other rivalry we have in boxing. for example, pacquiao's matches against guys like morales, barrera, bradley and marquez, and all those matches were entertaining better than any of the canelo vs GGG fight.

I agree. Total garbage. Golovkin is and always was a garbage hypejob.
Canelo ain't much better either. All three fights were crap and forced.

    Screw Golovkin.

Yep. I used to be a Boxing junky but my love for the sport diminishes every year.

Only time I actually sit through an event is when Im betting.. when Im not betting, i dont feel the suspense anymore. Why should I invest my time into a fight if there are no money on the line for me lol. *** that sht.

I dont watch MMA but I can see why UFC has become more popular in America.

Lack of good fighters, competitive matchups, and too much politics has turned Boxing into sht. I dont give a sht about about Boxing unless im wagering.

Boxing for the most part has been shit ever since the HBO GBP/Haymon output deal. The sport has never recovered from the aftermath of that deal.

          I disagree

There's some really good fighters coming up

Virgil Ortiz, Boots Ennis, Bam Rodriguez, Big Baby Anderson, Flip Hergovic, Steph Fulton, etc. . .

          Y'all are just hating.

Now, this current generation has been ruined by Floyd by letting fights "marinate" & wanting to be "businessmen" and all this nonsense, but the generation coming up will be better, mark my words.

Mayweather didn’t ruin anything. What he did can’t be replicated.

Arum/promoters/networks/sanctioning bodes were more at fault for what you’re accusing Mayweather of. Arum is the king of marination. And networks and promoters are splitting everyone up, making fights difficult to make.

Mayweather played the game, he didn’t create it.

You can blame all those other people till you blue in the face, but promoters work for the fighters.

If you're the biggest cash cow in the sport, you can fight whoever you want whenever you want and nobody not the promoters, sanctioning bodies, or networks could stop you.

Notice how Canelo fights who he wants when he wants.

Same for Oscar & Sugar Ray Leonard before them.
