And yes, Floyd will go down in history as an ATG as I think most observers would agree, but to downplay Pac’s accomplishments as anything but irrelevant makes this argument still “subjective.”

      Peace.
I wish somebody could just argue with me over merits! I DID NOT downplay Pac's accomplishments. I merely insinuated that he has not done enough to be placed in a category along with the aforementioned greats. Sure he's still fighting and he looks better than ever! He may eventually get there, everyone knows he has the talent. I accept and agree with the fact that it was a technical mismatch and the odds were stacked against Marquez from the beginning. Very much like the odds were stacked against Floyd when he fought Oscar. Everything except for the age difference, of course. I appreciate you responding without name-calling as some seem unable to do, but I think you misinterpreted what I said.

Isn't it funny how things can change in 12 hours? Marquez, who was being called everything from an Aztec Warrior, to a Savior, is now being referred to as a "midget," people who were picking him to win are now saying he never had a chance. Hindsight is 20/20, and people just cannot own up to it when they are wrong.

        Hilarious!
are you ******? jmm was a major underdog...

Again, did I at any time say that JMM was NOT an underdog? Please point out where I said that. I referenced the fact that just before the fight, Marquez got a million bandwagon jumpers who voted in polls and placed threads on forums such as these saying "Marquez will take Floyd to school" etc. In fact, as I pointed out, on HBO's poll, the majority of people who voted favored Marquez and that number progressively grew as the fight approached. NOW.... (listen closely because this is where you distorted what I said) NOW.... THOSE VERY SAME PEOPLE (the same ones who were voting, and posting those threads) are saying he never had a chance. I do not know how to make myself any clearer.

LOL ok, man. I'll let the rest of the forum decide for themselves. I don't know if you're just not reading my posts, or you choose to play dumb. Either way, I have clearly articulated my point to the best of my abilities, and it's obvious to me that I might as well be talking to a brick wall. Enjoy the fights!
