At no point did JMM looKfoolish.

Some would say that Floyd, the self proclaimed ATG looked foolish agreeing to fight a smaller, older boxer, and even coming in over the weight limit made Floyd look extremely foolish.

JMM took the fight because he is a true warrior, and wanted to challenge himself against a fighter with every advantage. And $$$$.

Going the distance with a much bigger ATG made many fans respect JMM. Somthing Floyd could learn from.

    Its not just about winning.

So PBF shouldnt be given too much credit.
JMM fighting at 147 is like Floyd fighting at 154

Floyd is a career SFW, JMM is a career FW

I give him major props for having the balls to take on Mayweather.
Well put. Marquez losses nothing for trying. It takes heart to go after the best out there, so he losses nothing in my book.

Ok then. PBF needs to fight a great 154lb guy. I dont think DLH was that guy after how pac dealt with him. But PBF isnt no SFW now anyway. He cant make light welter to even face hatton at 140lb.
So yes he would need to move up to middleweight. He is 5ft8. Duran was shorter and beat Barkley.
So if PBF is great he needs to challenge himself and leave no stone unturned. He is giving his critics ammunition.

Pacquiao didnt move up 2 divisions to fight mayweather! mayweather is different class. marquez showed the desire and balls to be the best by challenging an unbeaten former/current p4p number 1. when he could have stayed at home in mexico and fight mandatory challengers all the time. that deserves respect.

This is a **** thread. If anything he did Pacquiao's heavy lifting for him by fighting Mayweather. Floyd has a totally different style than the kind of straightforward styles that Manny has been in with. Arum won't ever let a Pacquiao-Floyd fight happen in my opinion. I like Pacquiao a lot just like I do JMM, but when people make these ****** threads and comments I go off.
