Marquez looked foolish because he tried to do a Pacquiao!

All I can say he got what he deserve, an embarrassment. Can he seriously think that he can just weight hop like a freak nature like Pacquiao did. Haven't he realized that his natural gifts isn't the same as Manny Pacquiao. Marquez who had no troubles making weight, had no reasons whatsoever to move up in weight went straight to welterweight to challenge Mayweather is like signing your retirement paper. He looed dumb doing it, he got his ass whipped and got what he deserve, plain and simple...

Well, Nacho wasn't as smart in picking which big fish to go after. Roach did a better job.

Roach put Manny in with a dolphin. Beristain put Juan in with a shark.

Marquez dared to be the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. Cant fault him for trying.

Sure at the end it proved to be a bad decision, but at least he made more money in this fight than he ever has, and at age 36.

I give him major props for having the balls to take on Mayweather.

He had the balls to do it so i give him all the credit in the world,I knew floyd would dominate him and contrary to what many posters here say Weight made a huge difference.Marquez said and I Quote"it was the weight I hit him with solid shots and didnt even moved him"

If JMM had did it the way Pac did - he would have fought a weight-drained PBF.

JMM is still a Top-HOF fighter - he deserves all the credit in the world for fighting PBF and no one should try to diminish that attempt ... because it takes BALLS. He didn't care about the two pounds, he didn't care that he was fighting the very best boxer, he just didn't care .... For Mexico, for Family, For Honour, For Glory ..... JMM went for it and lost ... but in my book he still won.

JMM is one of my favorite fighters ... because he has what few boxer's will ever have ..... Balls.

JMM moving up 2 weight divisions is like asking PBF to move up to middleweight and beat BH. PBF would be carrying extra baggage, even if on the surface he didnt look fat. If BH beat PBF easy at middleweight, noone would be giving BH too much credit.

So PBF shouldnt be given too much credit.

sorry not like a freak of nature, because if Pacquiao was in the ring saturday he would've gotten his head handed to him on a silver plate as well
