The difference would be that Manny will make contact and a solid one. Marquez was swatting flies the very few times that he made contact on Mayweather. Marquez was just too slow and was obviously hampered down with his weight, he looked like he was sooo out of shaped and just dead tired. The punches that he was throwing had nothing. That's what happens when you suddenly gain 10lbs and think that you'll perform the same way 10lbs lighter. Manny did it gradually, from 130 up to 135 up to 140 and eventually 145. At this point, Manny is a natural 140lbs and up, and his body, strength, and speed is accustomed to that weight.

JMM was like a punching bag and was a target practice for Floyd because he couldn't react fast enough for being too tired and out of breath from being overweight. Floyd had 3 combination several times and looked like JMM didn't even see it coming and almost did not move. How does that translate to JMM being slicker than Pac against Mayweather.
