Floyd isn't a small Welter weight because fight night weight isn't the boxing weight. The division is 141-147 and making 146 is okay.

In ring weight he is small compared to Cotto, Williams, Marg and Mosely. Maybe Collazo etc.. and slightly bigger than him, but he's not that small compared to the non top elite welters, just not that big.

Yeah Flawless the reason Floyd didn't want to be weighed on fight night was because he was still 146 while the immense JMM was 148 and if he was weighed he would have been criticized for fighting a bigger slow opponent.....that bully JMM was lucky Floyd was even willing to go up so high in weight. Maybe now Floyd can get a fair fight with Chris John if John is willing to go down in weight for Floyd's sake.

He's not at all tall for a WW but he has packed the muscle onto that frame and he's a full fledged WW IMO now. I noticed when I was watching the 24/7 ****. He has filled out a lot and has a lot more muscle than he did when he first started as a WW. There's no doubt in my mind that he's a WW now.

He looked to be about 160 during the fight.

He looked really strong but I don't think he weighed that much. He's not the type of fighter that gains 14 lbs over night.
