Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez: Golovkin Knows He Lost The Rematch, But He's Never Gonna Say It

LAS VEGAS - Canelo Alvarez and Gennadiy Golovkin both contend that they won each of their two middleweight title fights. Alvarez believes that, deep down, Golovkin realizes he lost their 12-round rematch in September 2018 at T-Mobile Arena.

Golovkin won the first fight, canelo won the second fight.

golovkin would’ve won it clearer if they fought esrlier (which is why he avoided it and dropped the belt and did the whole 155lb catchweight fiasco)

and canelo will likely win it clearer today

      the end

Nelo won both fights. First fight was shadow boxing for GGG. Zero meaningful punches. Second fight was simply torture on GGG.

GGGimmick had affective aggression and forced Canelo to fight on the back foot. It's not hard to score unless you are a fanboy. The Heel!

Canelo dog walked and beat GGGimmick up in the 2nd fight. Fanboy service with the draw nonsense. Clenelo!

Canelo by body stoppage 3rd fight. Clenelo!

Canelo and his fans have been living in a world of delusion about the rematch. They’ve twisted the narrative to make it seem like that fight was a mayweather vs Gatti type domination. In reality, canelo was outlanded in most rounds, of 51 press row scorecards only 2 had canelo winning and the 2 official judges who had Canelo winning had it 1 round off from being another draw. Canelo should’ve cleared up the controversy sooner but he feels like it’s safer now so he can finally get that real win. If somehow he doesn’t, his legacy takes a serious hit.
