Agreed, Mick Jagger is a bigger Icon to even boxing fans, than Ali is, even though he has nothing to do with boxing, it's quite baffling. Anyway im delighted to be the first.
I think I speak for the majority of fight fans on here when I say the day floyd ever beats a real welterweight,we will be satisfied whith the man,but until then,it's mythical matchups with floyd cause he aint did it yet & if u think we should jump on floyd's jock for beating a lightweight & studdering when Mosley ask him what's up ur nutts!!I'll hapilly remain a loyal fan of the Punisher who will fight anyone between 147-160 & people have a reason to hate!!

I remember when he was accused of DUCKING Baldomir after Baldomir had beat Judah for the Welterweight title. When he announced that he was fighting Zab alot of ppl screamed that he was ducking Baldomir (remember that interview with Brian Kenny). They said that they would give him credit if he were to fight and beat Baldomir. Well, he beat Zab, then beat Baldomir and they BASHED the man like crazy! And these were the same ppl who said that they would give him credit IF he were to fight Baldomir....so..I will believe that ppl will give him credit WHEN I see it. But the popular trend is that they SAY that all he needs to do is fight this guy or that guy and we will give him credit, but once its done, history shows that its a totally different story.
Floyd should fight Paul Williams, Shane Mosely, or Miguel Cotto. Hell, I'd even like to see him fight Luis Collazo or Felix Sturm. I like FLoyd's skill, although as a person I don't care much for his shennanigans. When I see him step it up and fight guys like those mentioned above, where there is clearly no doubt with weight issues, or any other detail that can marr the outcome, He's got my total respect.
Until then, I still think he's had a tailor made career, designed to make him look great, but not really challenging his so called p4p best in the world abilities. To be great, you have to beat the greatest.
