    after the storm

Floyd fought very well against an obviously smaller Marquez ,but Juan took the challenge like many before him have and found out that it is the wrong weight class for him ,that should not however taint Floyds victory he fought extremely well his defense looked at its peak,i hope he fights Mosley they looked about the same size side by side ,and i think many hardcores have wanted to see that fight for years.

WOW, a post showing respect for both fighters. have not seen this that often on this forum littered with foul mouthed my boxer is better than your boxer so your boxer sucks ass type talk.

and yeah i would love Floyd vs Mosley also, a super(maybe only to hardcore fans) fight with boxers actually in their natural division.

It was a tuneup. Now it's time for the real fights.

Real fight? Against who? He wants Pacman, who is roughly the same size as JMM (maybe even a tad smaller?). He won't fight a welterweight, as this would present some chance of losing.

My prediction (or prophecy, if you prefer), is that Floyd fights Manny, then retires again, proclaiming himself the greatest who ever lived. After, of course, hiring a good accountant/personal money manager.

The only way Floyd loses, ever, is if he gets robbed by his accountant and is forced to come back yet again in a couple of years, but even then, he'll probably try and talk Mosley out of retirement then so he can be assured of one more win.

That's the best I've ever seen Floyd fight. I bought the PPV for the undercards but Floyd was amazing. I'm not a Floyd nuthugger but he was unbeatable on Saturday. He was facing a smaller man, and it was clearly a mismatch, but Mayweather wins. The game plan that JMM brought into the fight was totally ineffective, regardless of weight.

I believe Mayweather owes Nacho/Marquez for not pulling out of the fight, given his financial situation.Carrying him through the 12th was a kind gesture and it made me gain some respect for him. I don't think anybody, but the most senseless, wanted to see JMM get Gamachio'd...

The streak continues. I've never seen Floyd take a clean punch.

I'd love it if you were right, I would. And what makes this whole thing sad is that Mosley is the fight Mayweather should be making. He presents the most difficult challenge for him, and is really the only fight out there that would help him prove himself as an all time great, and p4p best of this era.

I hope I'm wrong, I do, but no way this fight happens, in my opinion.
