I am thinking that the extra 8 lbs may actually help G’s stamina and punch/punch resistance. It’ll be an epic war hopefully. Hope it does a ton of PPV’S…it’s one of the few fights that I actually believe is PPV worthy!

If GGG gets a genuine SD with Canelo now, I'd call GGG the ATG MW (even though they fight at 168, I know). And nobody in their sound mind will ever claim that Canelo is better than GGG even if GGG loses close fight. Imagine how it must have been to fight prime G, no wonder he was avoided.

I doubt the G will win, it's highly unlikely, but what matters to me is how he will lose. Klitschko's loss to AJ has only elevated Wlad in the eyes of the fans and showed what a specimen he was in his prime when he did what he did at 41,5.

Four years out from the 2018 fight, what can G do better than he did in that fight, where the judges awarded Alvarez a MD in a close, competitive fight. Canelo's a good fighter but he follows the Mayweather blueprint of fighting good fighters when they aint that good anymore.

He can do a marquez and limit his punch output but throw huge bombs ??? Paid off for marquez
