Who the hell was saying that? No one with any common sense. P4P he was the best Mayweather has ever fought but the fight wasn't fought in some mystical P4P universe, it was fought at welterweight where Floyd had every advantage and Marquez showed himself to be nothing. If anything most the convincing about Marquez being a real opponent for Mayweather came from Floyd fans, who said stuff like "Floyd isn't really a welterweight, he could still make 140," and "the weight isn't going to affect Marquez, he weighs the same on fight night at lightweight."
