a little bit more to it than that...he called him out with a catchweight stipulation to which floyd ignored totally...floyd must had some fear of marquez to do something like that...i disagree that it would have still been a mismatch at a weight closer to marquez' most efficient...
Floyd was supposed to win against Marquez (5-1 odds), hell, the way he cheated during weigh in, he was supposed to KO JMM... any legit welter would look impressive against an overblown, slow, aging superfeatherwieght.
