Now imagine if GGG was 32 years old and Canelo was 40 years old. It wouldn't last 3 rounds.

What leads you to such an assumption ?

To be fair, it was a war. Canelo got beat up as well & his face was also a mess. That’s typically what you see when two guys go to war - blood.

Don't bet your house on it.
Let’s see, I like both fighters but I think he was a little robbed in the first fight.

            PaleNelo ''suffered'' a small cut.

Not saying it can't happen, I mean, when people punch each other, a KO is technically possible.

Nelo's boxing IQ, chin and talent will probably keep the odds very low.
He probably won't score a KO either. GGGeezer has tools and a reliable chin is one of them.
I'm not impressed with GGGeezer's ''resume'', such that it is, but he is a decent fighter.

It's a shame they weren't born in the same year.
This way MFers wouldn't be crying about how old GGG is (no one mentions his age until he fights Nelo......strange how that works).

This is supposed to be peak Canelo who before the Bivol fight was at the top of many p4p lists. And then we have 40 year old Golovkin who’s looked less of himself in each fight since their rematch. I know there’s a ton of intangibles that play a part in all of it but this is pretty much the simplest way to describe their careers at the moment.

On paper this should be Canelos easiest fight since the Yildirm fight. I think if he struggles or looks less than spectacular in this, it shows that either Canelo is slightly overrated or Golovkin at 40 years old is underrated.

Other than a KO which is unlikely but absolutely possible, I don’t see how Golovkin wins a decision against Canelo once you take all the above things mentioned into consideration. GGG couldn’t get a decision 5 years ago, how does he get one now when he has declined in just about every area of his game
Mark my words, triple OG GGG is going to give him a shxt bag. As Oscar said against B-Hop, " He hit me in my leever."

The only way ggg gets stoped is if his corner pulls him out, which is a possibility (worth a bet), but we are talking about a fighter who has never taken a knee, let alone being close to being knocked out, perhaps at 168 he will be and feel to slow. Canelo is also an older fighter, I'm not saying he is on the decline, but he probably isn't the fighter he once was.

                  Looking forward to this!

Sounds like a pretty logical assumption to me when you consider that when ggg was 35/36 a 27/28 yr old Canelo needed help from the judges To escape without a loss after being outlanded in 18 of 24 rounds. Canelo is showing signs of slowing down in his early 30’s, so imagine 9 years from now what Canelo would’ve look like against a 32 yr old ggg who was a wrecking machine. It probably would’ve ended by murder.

Canelo has real balls taking on an old way past his prime Ggg yrs later after their 2 previous bouts. At least Ggg gets that huge retirement check.
