She was the head of state, a figurehead in the service of the nation, whose reign began in 1952 and ended in 2022. A 70-year reign, which is longer than any other in British history. This is plain, simple historical fact. Once again, though, what's your point? The claim that it is mandated mourning is clearly false, as discussed in my previous post.
