As for Jamaica - it can do what it wants - Barbados removed the Queen as his head of state in 2021. How? It just had a vote. But even Barbados stayed in the Commonwealth. And Britain helps all these countries - look at how much aid we gave to Barbados.

I live in England, I'm surrounded by Irish, Scottish, Indians, Nigerian, Jamaicans etc Doesn't seem like they hate us too much here. Scotland already had an independence vote and maybe they will have another one in another 10 years. What other country lets parts of it leave?

I am English, and my grandfather and some other family members were killed by Germans in the war - very recent compared to slavery. I don't hate Germans at all. I've been there on holiday a couple of times too. I don't waste any time thinking about Germany like that at all. We had a 100+ year war with the French, no one cares about it now.
