Least a black person could actually become King or Queen. If you look at succession itself - women were very heavily discriminated against. The Carribbean immigrants who came here (Where most of our black population originally came from, they don't come from ****** here) really respect the Queen. They called Britain the mother country back then. They wanted to come there. There was a lot more racism back then too.

You only have to watch videos of the Queen visiting all these countries at the time. They didn't force people to show up and cheer!

The royal family don't have any real power. The only think the monarch can really do is to remove a rogue Prime Minister. Otherwsie they can't do much at all and they have to "work" It's not like being a Hollywood star when you can do what you want. That's why I think it's crazy that people want that.
