Well, the thread starter sound ignorant.. If this performance was better than EVERY performance since Chico, how didnt he look sharp? Doesnt make since at all.. He was throwing once punch at a time the same way he did his last 5 fights.. But hey, I respect your off the wall horrible opinion

I think it was quite obvious Floyd never left 2nd gear against JMM.

He was coming off a 2 year lay off as well.

Very hard to judge were he's really at until he's properly tested.

Top topics after the fight? The Weight (Mismatch) And 2. how Sharp Mayweather Looked, even prompting some analyst to say he is still P4P #1.

he's clearly shot. he let his sparring partner(that lil mexican dude) hit him with a couple clean shots. lets hope he's a lot sharper when he finally makes his return to boxing.

i must say...floyd looked a lil bit slower than usual and not quite as sharp as im used to seeing him

theres just sumthin not right about him right now

there were times in the fight that he looked sloppy... which im not used to seeing

Its easy for him to look good against marquez but..if that was mosley or pac in there...things might have been a lil different..
I AM NOT SAYING THAT HE IS NO LONGER GOOD...he is still VERY SKILLED
but.. i dont think hes prime anymore
Does anyone agree? or disagree? plz i would love an INTELLIGENT and CIVIL argument.. not a ******ed illogical one
He looked damn good. If I had to pick a fight where he looked slower it would be the DLH fight. Too much weight IMO. Still dominated though.

We saw a C Floyd against Marquez. When he fights legit welters, then we will see him bring it! He will fight Mosely, Cotto, and Berto. But he's going to make Mosely wait as long as possible.

I think he looked better. He got hit around the same amount against Hatton maybe more, very sharp and very fast especially with the lead left hook.
