It can now be argued that JMM is at his best fighting weight at 130.
He has somewhat slowed down at 135 considering how he had some difficult moments with Casamayor and Juan Diaz. It's easy to see now how Pac would destroy both those fighters considering Casamayor should have lost to Santa Cruz who was beaten by David Diaz and Juan Diaz to Malignaggi who was beaten by Hatton. Pac knocked out David Diaz in a mismatch and we know how Hatton ended up.
JMM tried to duplicate Pac's feats of moving up the divisions in the hope of landing a 3rd fight with him. Sadly, genes cannot be duplicated.
It also meant that JMM was at his best and at his prime while Pac wasn't yet when they last fought at 130 lbs.
Pac seems to be at his best at 140, but even that could change depending on how he fares against Cotto at 145.
JMM has over stretched his limits, while Pac is still searching his.
