Its basic math and people are treating it like calculus.

It's very true what you're saying.

Most people don't seem to like Floyd at all, when you don't like somebody, it's hard to give them credit for anything. Whatever he does, there will be excuses from the other fighter he beats.

I'm not a big fan of Floyd out of the ring, he comes accross as a prick IMO. But in the ring, I have no other choice but respect him. He has amazing skills and I love to watch him fight.

That's the thing I don't understand about all this. His own fans seem not to want to see him in with the best opponents. Don't you all want to see him prove his dominance or do you rather like him sitting back just saying he is the most dominant?

I love watching him fight but I just want to see him in with someone good and worthy. Marquez is a just a mad warrior but he was still always going to be overmatched, too old, too slow, and way too small. Or has everyone already forgotten that when this match was made this is exactly what everyone was saying about it? No one ever gave Marquez a chance but his insane warrior spirit and his want to prove himself made everyone want him to win so badly. What's not to like about a fighter like that? There is a lot to dislike about a fighter that doesn't do that but runs his mouth about pretending to do what a Marquez has done.
Absolutely lovely how a fighter becomes old, washed up whatever after fighting floyd. It seems that fighting Mayweather is a death sentence for a fighter's reputation. How ironic. Marquez was doing great up untill metting Floyd, and was exactly the type of fighter that can move up in weight succesfully because of his SKILL. And for your brain cells, Floyd wasn't using his size anyway. He was basicely pot shotting, using his defense and outboxing him.

Also, there were plenty of folks giving Marquez a chance. Loads of threads about how Floyd wasn't gonna be the same after the layoff, that his head was ****ed because of his supposed personal problems.

Your post is full of lies because that's what you are.

          He was?

I saw him struggling with Juan Diaz.

He landed a great punch to end that fight, but in no way was that performance overly great and dominating.

              you just embarrassed white people.

and how can you possibly say floyd wasn't using his size in the fight? size is use in every fight because you have to find range. JMM threw solid combinations that fell short because when the other guy is that big it only takes a small step/lean back of those long legs. he did it all night. when floyd slides on with that lead hook, he gets assistance from the long stride in his legs and his long range makes it impossible for the little guy to counter.

when you take a guy with those kinds of skills and style he's already going to be effective against anyone slower, but give him a size advantage and you may have a mismatch

He also gets credit from me for fighting any of the fighters you just discredited that you wanted him to get credit for beating if he fights them.
No he does not get credit. Oscar was OLD according to "yall". That was of cource AFTER Floyd did what he always does.

I've been in this game a long time and have a very good memory lad. I know exactly how people discredit fighters.

People wanted him to take the Hatton and La Hoya fights. He still didn't get credit for it afterwards. People didn't want him to take on Baldomir indeed but that was title related. And this Marquez is just a tune up.

                    I don't recall saying that,

I simply asked because I have no idea what you were trying to convey with that message.

lol at the red K. Is that one little red bar going to negate the 5 greens I got today?

Yes he did. Would you rather have him be his own boss or be a slave to Don King or Arum to ruin his career?

                      You're an idiot.

I saw him showing his heart to take over the fight at the end and finish it perfectly. Marquez has always been in wars, and I doubt he'll ever be KO'd.
