Deontay is one of the most entertaining boxers we have. His fights are electrifying, and I hope he has a second reign. However, he's 36 now and was in two back-to-back beatdowns. Whatever version of Deontay we get now, it's going to a a lesser version than what we've seen in the past. That's a guarantee. To what extent, I guess we'll find out soon enough. But I think that Wilder won't get past the top guys at this point, Joshua included. And even though Joshua has two back-to-back losses as well, he was out finessed, not pulverized like Wilder. Joshua's also younger, so I'd definitely pick Joshua to beat Wilder if they fight. I pick Usyk to beat him too. Hell, fighting Hellenius might be closer than we expect.

I'm a Wilder fan, so I hope he proves you wrong, especially in the case of Anthony Joshua. I'll concede though that you could very well be correct..

I wouldn’t say losing the the top HW in the division and going life and death with him in one of the more exciting fights in quite a long time is being “destroyed.”
