Fighting Anderson Silva, who recently beat Chavez Jr, in his 5th fight is a FAR bigger test than 99% of champions out there faced that early in their career.

Only guys I can think of that stepped it up that early are Lomachenko and David Morell.

Morrell also fought a guy who beat Chavez Jr in his 5th fight - and get this, there was a vacant title on the line.

Lame. This is the equivalent of going to to the circus sideshow to see the bearded lady. It's kind of a freak show. At this point, I think it's time that Jake fights a real boxer. It's just time. The boxer doesn't have to be ranked, either. Just fight a guy that's close in age and size, with a similar level of ability. I don't want to see this **** anymore.

I was talking to my brother about this today. JP needs to fight a boxer but they have paid him too much already so a fighter with his experience level has to have name value or they will lose money. I'm honestly disappointed the Tommy Fury fight never came through.

Yes I know Silva shouldn't offer his reputation on a plate but nobody forced anyone into ring.
Yes jake can make pro fighter look bad and make a mockery of someone with a pro fight record. But I'm sure Silva got some juice in his own punches still. I wish this was a mma fight
