Why should AJ get 50%?

Because Fury wouldn’t get close to the numbers he’d get with Joshua? Joshua has done over 1.5 mil buys 3 times. This fight could hit 2mil easily. Who can Fury get close to that number with besides Joshua? Loss or no loss, the guy is a massive name.

You have to take into consideration the position Anthony Joshua now finds himself in. Lost 2 on the bounce and 2 out the last 5. No title shot in sight for the next 24 months minimum. Multi, Multi Millionaire that lives a life of (Hard Earned) luxury.

I Think conceding that 10% should be meaningless at this stage of AJ career. He can look at it from the point of investing in himself. He had to take less to get the Charles Martin fight he saw the bigger picture and he has to here.

This Lifeline really has fallen from the Gods into Joshua’s Lap, it’s incredible how fortunate he is that this has come about. If I was him I’d rather go Balls to the Wall, Everything In Against Fury. Throw everything into it and maybe consider retirement if you’re unsuccessful.

Remember One thing, Had AJ been Victorious Against Usyk, this fight and date was the plan all along anyways! There is no excuse not to take it.

If AJ rejects this it’s a self admission that he doesn’t believe in himself to win it, that’s fine if that happens. As long as Everybody Truly understands the situation.

Does Joshua Lose Face if he turns it down? Possibly, if he rejects purely down to money and having to play B-Side or he tries claiming Networks are in the way, he certainly should be no longer viewed as a true credible contender if that happens.

This is a crossroads in Joshua’s Career, he either steps up and finally takes some ownership of his career, or he lets Eddie and co Steer him down a different path of less resistance in hopes of The Titles becoming Fragmented. I think this is what Eddie Would Prefer to do.

He will try to find an Obscure fighter to face for a vacant belt. Or a “in house” fight against a Hrgovic or Whyte.

So with all this in mind Tyson Fury has been very respectful and based on splits alone is coming across very credible and willing to make this fight.

Ball is in Joshua court now. I guess if it stays silent over the week, that’s likely good news. If we get back and forth Twitter spats and the rest of it, it won’t pull off , Thats what I think anyway.

I imagine the networks will be a problem in this fight, AJ just having signed the big exclusive DAZN contract. That’s my pessimistic guess at why this one doesn’t happen!

Oh god, Fury trying to avoid fighting again. Not really fair but AJ should take it, just to get the fight. I don't think Fury is serious about this fight because instead of making a proper approach, he asked on Twitter. AJ can say he wants the fight all he wants there but there is nothing to sign. Fury is just trying to make it sound like he wants big fights while not fighting. I mean I thought he was "definitely retired for good".

Worth remembering Fury turned AJ down for a 60/40 split a couple of years ago when Fury had no belts. Also I'm sure Wilder gave Fury a great split for their fight, when Fury had done nothing for a few years and had no belts,

Two issues. One will be the massive DAZN deal thats just been signed. But even that's not insurmountable, give DAZN worldwide rights apart from the US which I assume is with ESPN and alter the DAZN contract accordingly by dropping a fight and reducing the guaranteed amount to AJ. Other issue is if Hearn can be involved. AJ would have seen what happened to Whyte with no Hearn.
