Two things.

1.) When Fury gave up the Ring belt, he gave up any right to be called the Heavyweight champion... until he beats Usyk.

2.) Why is he calling out a guy who's gone 0-2 in his last two? That's a bad look.

1] Fury is still WBC Chanpion

2] Fury #1 in the world atm, he called out #2 in the world in Usyk who can't fight til 2023, so he then called out #3 in the world in AJ. Fair play, massive fight. Could do more PPV buys than any heavyweight fight for over a decade.

It's PRO boxing. That is all. Who should he fight? Hgrovic? Sanchez? For your entertainment? There is ten times more money fighting Joshua than the likes of Hgrovic.

This fight will happen, but not in December. Joshua is just saving face.

Joshua needs a few tune-ups to rebuild and meet the obligations of his renewed contract.

Fury needs big money fights to stay motivated and Joshua and Usyk are how he does. Can't blame him considering the 30-40 mill for Wilder and Whyte fights.

Hearn knows to let Joshua wait it out. Fury-Joshua for all the marbles is a 100 million+ starting bid anywhere between Saudi Arabia and England.

Doesn't expect too much movement in HW until next year.

The only reason Fury is so anxious for the match now is because he think Joshua is weak after suffering two back to back losses. If Joshua was fresh off a win and looking his former self, I doubt Fury would be so bold in his actions. He’s trying to make himself look good because he’ll just claim both Usyk and Joshua didn’t want the fight. When we all know Usyk has earned a break and Joshua and team aren’t looking for a big fight until he gets one or two easier fights under his belt. I don’t like how Fury has attacked both guys when he’s supposedly such a big proponent of mental health. He comes off as a hypocrite.

This is just gamesmanship on Fury's part - Joshua won't take the bait, and passing up the fight will also make him look bad.

Fury isn't ducking a damn thing. He wants to fight again at Christmas and Usyk won't be ready.

Aj seems to have bitten...why not? Why would anyone mind this is usyk is on the shelf for a bit. Fury has decent leverage, Aj has a great opportunity...all good.
If the best fight the best, like everyone whines about, somebody has to lose. So people can say usyk is great and I think so as well, but the fact is Aj lost two fairly close fights with him...what sort of logic is that. This is a big part of why boxing is getting worse...petty fans.

So much for Usyk ducking Fury when Fury really wants an AJ fight in December. Popular fight but the Usyk fight has much more meaning.
