Comments Thread For: Bivol: I Don't Need Rematch With Canelo; Maybe To Earn Money, But Not My Main Goal

Dmitry Bivol is fully prepared to move on from the biggest win of career. The possibility of never again facing Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is fine with the WBA light heavyweight titlist, particularly as both have present-day business to handle. While Alvarez returns to super middleweight for a trilogy clash with and an

That’s different to hear, while almost everyone is pissed at Canelo for not fighting them. Bivol is saying he don’t need Canelo. Now why would he say that?? Perhaps cause he believes in himself in making his own legacy and money. That’s how it’s SUPPOSE TO BE. Make your own brand people.

Bivol is undoubtedly the king of his castle and yes he beat Canelo easily but must not continue with his legacy. Zurdo poses a huge threat and then Beterbiev beckons. Bivol has the opportunity to be an all time great if he plays his cards right and keeps winning.

Bivol is right if we’re being honest. Other than Canelo being a draw and having shady judges in his pocket that tried to make this fight seem closer than it really was, there’s no real justification to a rematch. Canelo wasn’t good enough in the first fight to warrant deserving a rematch.

Good on him. Spoken like a guy who is certain Canelo is not beating him anytime soon. Canelo fought straight up s#itty that night, and unless he makes some serious changes, Bivol is right, he’s not beating him and best move on.

If Canelo beats GGG, and Bivol beats Zurdo, I want to see the rematch, but I want the rematch to be @ 168! Bivol offered to fight Canelo @ 168, and I think that;s great! Let Canelo put his titles on the line! If not, then vacate those titles, so others can move forward too!

Canelo can say what he wants, he ain’t fighting this guy again because if he does we will ask why he didn’t fight artur. In any case, he just doesn’t beat either guy in any stage

Canelo and Hearn wont allow that... its bad for there image if he loses, which i believe he would again. That way theres zero excuses about weight, no fall back. Atm they have that card that they playing and Canelo moving back upto 175 to challenge for greatness is always going to be the theme. If Bivol teaches him another boxing lesson, which i believe will be much worse as Demi knows exactly what hes dealing with this time round... doing that at 168 would solidify that Bivol is just better then Canelo. In which case Canelo becomes a AJ situation.
