Comments Thread For: Hearn on Canelo: My Instructions From Eddy Reynoso Are To Make The Bivol Rematch

Dmitry Bivol remains the top target next spring for Canelo Alvarez, according to Eddie Hearn. Hearn, the promoter of the Mexican superstar and current undisputed champion at 168, indicated recently that he had "instructions" from Alvarez's trainer and manager Eddy Reynoso to schedule a rematch with the Russian light heavyweight champion, presumably for May 2023.

GGG is 100% focused on Alvarez only,, Canelo is on an emotional roller coaster and Golovkin can possibly be stronger at 168

        G Stronger at 40 years old. He isn’t Marquez…
What if Canelo was weaker at 160 when they fought. He’s fighting for a paycheck and that’s it.

A 27 year old being weaker at 160 when fighting at "JMW" for years prior, compared to a 36 year old fighting at 160 for 12 years...yeah makes a lot of sense. Golovkin not having to cut 8 lbs will make him stronger, most likely. So many of you guys claimed Canelo is a natural JMW but now the narrative is changing to him possibly being weak at 160. Make up your ****ing minds.

Don't sleep on Golovkin! While I expect Canelo to win and possibly win big, GGG is an elite fighter with a granite chin and huge power. Plus, he is also a good boxer. The key is going to be if Canelo can exploit Golovkin's defense with counters and power punches to keep GGG on the back foot enough to make a difference. Canelo is in for a long night if GGG can stay on the offense for long periods of time because GGG can still punch harder than anyone around that weight class. We shall see.

I'm getting sick of the elderly abuse in boxing today. Ggg looked like he was boxing under water against Murata he's so slow now.
Ginge needs to start facing hus mandatories or get stripped.

Any 90+ IQ boxing fans already knows Fury will fight Usyk and Canelo will fight Bivol. That "ducking" BS is irritating asf.
