The way I see it is that whatever weight Floyd and Manny agree to will have to be honored by Mayweather. So I think he will push hard for 147. He would not be allowed to agree to a catchweight in the negotiations just to get the fight signed, then come in a couple pounds over weight. Manny, unlike Marquez, will be coming off of 3 big money fights in a row. I dont think Mayweather could throw money at Manny at this point to make Manny overlook the weight.

roach is wise to floyd's tricks now... the stipulation for not making weight will be high... liek $1-2 million for every lbs above the contracted weight.

This post is definately based on the wish factor.

Why yes it is. But last night proved that Mayweather CAN be hit, and hit flush. Marquez did hit him flush on several occassions. Floyd just laughed at Marquez whenever he did. To me it's unclear yet whether it was because of Floyd's toughness or the size advantage or the lack of power Marquez was able to carry why Mayweather was able to take those shots so easily. I'd have to re-watch the fight again several times(which at this point seems like a chore to me) to come anywhere near a conclusion.

But i am making an educated guess based on the speed factor and the fact that I believe that Pacquiao's right hook is sharper and more compact than Mayweather's left hook.

So the only 2 ways i see this fight turning out would be either Mayweather jabbing Pacquiao to death like he did Marquez or Mayweather gets a little too comfortable and gets put down hard.
