So the odds of seeing Canelo against Charlo or Benavidez is slim to none leaning closer to none at this point

Precisely. Why can’t these guys fight each other? They are all fighting inferior opposition while begging for a fight with Canelo.
Meanwhile, Canelo is supposed to everyone of them. Well, he did. He unified the168 Ibs.

If the WBC makes Benavidez a mandatory as they should why wouldn't he fight him is the real question. Like it or not Benavidez is at 168 and the interm titlist giving him the right to fight for the title

From the way Reynoso is talking it sounds as though Canelo is going to try to take centre ring again - which is Christmas come early as he'll be thudded with power jobs from a 168lb Golovkin who'll have more presence and power.

He's not better than them and he knows it. Since when has it been cool for a champion to ignore and not fight the top fighters in his weight division. You guys make the most excuses for Cinnabon, but then complain about the best not fighting the best. He picks and chooses the lowest risk and you let him, using payday as an excuse. Is it payday for Yildirim and Fielding? Just realize that these fighters such as Benavidez, Charlo, and Andrade are all his age and when he takes another loss from his carefully picked opponents, he will have no where else to turn. If he lost to them when they were his mandatory, then he could still walk proudly, knowing that he challenged himself to fight the best. But if he loses to them trying to get his name back up, its the end of his cherry picking legacy.
