Really? Joshua has had 2 rematches. Fury 4. Wilder 4. Fury and Wilder spent nearly 4 years rematching each other and preventing an undisputed fight.

Whilst a bit annoying sometimes I don't think rematch clauses are all that bad. It's an obvious thing to do if you are able to. Who wouldn't want an insurance policy? Both fighters agree to it and it helps certain fights get made. It's not as annoying as fights not getting made because of "wrong side of the street" or A side/B side demands.

These guys are not champions so there shouldn't be a need to include a rematch clause to a simple contest like this.

Parker is resilient but don't think he hits hard enough to keep Joyce off him who will just keep pounding away with those heavy hands.

Pretty clear by now Parker is just in it for the coin . He doesn’t have the aggression to become a champion again

Just goes from fight to fight doing the bare minimum, one of the most frustrating fighters to watch

Has fast hands and a rock solid chin but fights like a puzzy . Shame

There's never a need for a rematch clause. It's about whether the fighters want one or not. Joyce obviously wants one and Parker agreed. Part of the terms just like money, venue etc.

                I agree 100%.

Rematch clauses are being overused by chickensh-t promoters.

Rematches aren't really good in a time when fighters don't fight often, they need to fight varied different people. But I guess if your the biggest names, and even before fight people expected rematch or trilogy it's ok like a Pac v floyd, or Floyd v dlh, or Floyd v nelo. Or if you had advantages in 1st fight like a CW, or home advantage it might be gentlemanly to give one

                    Bullpuckey!!!

Did you not see his last fight where he demolished the ghost of Chisora ?

Had ol Delboy cowering in the corner and saved him the ignominy of getting brutally knocked the fark out by not pursuing him...

When Parker gets through Joyce, twice , he'll be in the prime spot to take over from Fury, Usyk as they would most likely retire after full unification.

Rematch clauses are not good. We only see guys fight once a year and if it is a rematch the fans lose another matchup they want to see. Promoters like it because they get two for one if their fighter loses and if he wins they get a bigger purse fight. It is win win for promoters but fans lose out not seeing the fights they want.
