    credit where credit is due

give mayweather credit for this fight

lay off did not affect him

his age isnt diminishing his speed or reflexes

he is still consistent where it counts, defense and offense

Now lets put this fight into perspective:

Marquez looked to be far smaller than Floyd

Marquez looked a little flabby around the middle, MArquez appeared to me to be sluggish and slower at this weight. Im sure some of that was due to the quality of Mayweather's boxing.

Mayweather completely pulled a mindgame and took weight out of the picture by coming in 2 pounds over and paying the fine. Good move even if it was classless.

Outside of the KD Mayweather never really seemed to rock Marquez and he landed some bombs. This was probably due to his temperament, just being content to win and not go for a stoppage.

The door is still wide open IMO as to how Mayweather could deal with a Mosley, Cotto or Pacman level of guy. This fight ended up being the fluff that every one thought it would be.

I give him credit for a great performance, but i personally won't pay to see him fight Pacquiao, i'll gladly watch a UFC card over a Mayweather card unless it's against Mosely.
