You gotta be ignorant or eal ****** or both to really think fighting an 175 elite champ in bivol a cherrypick gone wrong...like seriouslyComment

For a guy that can fight anyone he wants,Canelo may be the P4P most risk-averse fighter today.
Soprry but the new found interest in belts or greatness or moving up in weight are excuses for avoiding the he REAL risks....Charlo, Andrade, prime Golovkin and David Benavidez and everyone knows it.... and so does Canelo.Comment

It's not Canelo's fault but not every fighter can jump around divisions and get fights as easily as he can. It is amusing seeing people change their opinion of fighters after Canelo fought them though. On a side note, I do think we've already seen the best of Canelo. He's not a young 32 and all the weight jumping, I think, is already starting to take its toll. People who think he's just entering his prime or recently entered it are kidding themselves.Comment

Check this out..If we take same lame ass criteria in which canelo is criticized but apply it to usyk case instead, then we can say the Ukrainian unified one of the weakest division in recent years CW,only 2 div world champ (still need to beat fury to fully conquer HW div) just came from defeating a robotic champ twice who was already dethrone before by a underdog fatboy, dont get me wrong not trying to take away credit off great champ like usyk just to expose haters MOComment

Canelo takes no risk at all. Picks and chooses every fight, avoids the toughest available challengers over and over. And is doing it right now with his whole, "I don't wanna fight a Mexican" crap. This logic is like whites who drew the color line in the early 1900's to avoid tough black fighters. Segregation doesn't belong in boxing, so Canelo is terrible for the sport and when he leaves, his ducking tactics will be a major part of his legacy. He's already fought Mexicans b4, so all of a sudden he has too much Mexican love to fight a Mexican? If other Mexicans did this, we never would have seen Barrera vs. Morales I, II, III, Chavez vs. Mario Martinez, Chavez vs Jose Luis Ramirez, and hundreds of other amazing fights over the years. Its not that he doesn't wanna fight Mexicans, its that he doesn't wanna fight CERTAIN Mexicans, specifically Benavidez and Zurdo Ramirez. To avoid Andrade, he called him a horrible fighter, but then fights British bums who never stood a chance, and a drunken Kovalev. Its a fact he avoids difficult fights. Its bad enough we have promoters pushing this, "other side of the street" BS, and blacklisting fighters. To have Canelo deciding to avoid his own race, he's a major part of what's wrong with boxing today. This BS is why fights we wanna see, never get made. If he has real love for Mexico, he would help these worthy Mexican fighters feed their families by giving them an opportunity to make big money, but he's a sucker, plain and simple and he'll never have the love from his ppl of a Chavez, Salvador Sanchez, Chiquita Gonzalez, the Marquez brothers, Ruben Olivares, Barrera, or Morales. He's not even close to being the best Mexican fighter, because none of the past greats ever tried to pull this type of BS and none of them picked and chose who they fought like this...when he leaves boxing, I won't miss him and I was glad when he ran from Benavidez and picked a sour cherry in Bivol and got his ass kicked real good.
