Hearn and Arum Lose Purse Bids—What Does It Mean?

So I've just seen that Hearn lost the purse bid for Buatsi vs Pascal and Arum lost the purse pid for Zepeda vs Prograis. What's going on here? Any ideas? Because Buatsi is one of his future stars and Zepeda is key to Top Ranks 140 division hold. He's going to have Lopez and possibly Haney fighting at 140, so why let one of their 140 champions go with the belt? Am I missing something here? Does this mean that Top Rank is done with Lopez and that Matchroom is done with Buatsi? That Top Rank has no intention of keeping Haney?

It means their bids weren’t the highest.

Nope. They didn't even bid. I know Zepeda is technically not signed with Top Rank but he's been fighting on ESPN, through Top Rank, so I associate Zepeda as a Top Rank fighter who's one of their champions. I think it' strange that they didn't even bid.

Hearn has come out and given his reason for why he didn't bid on the Buatsi fight. He said that the fight is not worth what was bid. Pretty simple. But it seems that he's my make Buatsi vs Callum Smith next.

Now that would be a fight!!
