Why try WWf when we got Gayweather in the sport.
Wouldn't have made any difference if you'd said "fight" - if you're only interested in boxing as entertainment as not as a sport then it isn't for you, and no amount of childish name calling will change that.

i gotta say its ****** that people say mayweather could beat pac just based on the fact that he beat marquez. dont get me wrong, i think may could beat pac, but not just because of marquez. jmms best attributes are all skills that pbf has but only better. pac is a south paw, hes fast, has power, and has a crazy pace. i gotta say if this fight happened two months ago and pac just kod hatton like he did everyone would be saying pac could win because everyone just seems to remember what just happened.

It might be a secret in boxing that Floyd struggles with Southpaws. I can't say for sure, but there's something to it.

I think Pacquiao gives Floyd the toughest fight of his career, TBH. The last time Floyd didn't have a huge edge in Handspeed was the Judah fight, who is also a Southpaw, and Zab did very well early in that fight. Floyd has been fighting guys who he can simply dominate with his speed and IQ for the last 3 years. This would not be the case against Manny, at least in speed. I don't believe for a minute that Floyd would be able to pick him apart at will and dominate him easily.

I would favor Mayweather to win, but it will not be easy. I wouldn't be shocked if Manny pulled it out.

A few reasons why Pacquiao would fare better.

              1) Pacquiao is younger, faster and stronger than Marquez at this weight.

              2) Pacquiao actually moves his head and does not stand in front of his opponents waiting to get pick apart by the best potshotter in the game. I understand that Marquez is a counter puncher but waiting on Mayweather for anything is just asking for it.

              3) Pacquiao's a southpaw. He's got a nasty lighting right hook counter which is a punch Mayweather's been hurt with by both Corely and Judah. He's also got a crafty lead straight hand that should give Mayweather fits.

One more. Pac has gained weight, up to Jnr Welterweight, at least, without losing speed or power or timing, and without looking physically weaker than his opponents. He is now a natural Jnr Welterweight.

Marquez, by contrast, has lost a considerable amount of speed and timing as he has put on weight, and he looked physically weaker than his opponents even at Lightweight, and looked much weaker, physically than Floyd. He is still a natural Super Featherweight.

Huge difference, between fighting a natural Super Featherweight, and a natural Jnr Welterweight.
