The career of Robert Helenius began floundering in 2016. As one of the sport's hottest young prospects, the Swedish native was left unaware of his surroundings in the sixth round against Johann Duhaupas. Although he would go on to reel off three consecutive victories, Dillian Whyte pushed him further down boxing's totem pole in 2017.

Helenius should had been putting extra work his whole career. He had promised and quickly fell to the sidelines. Now he is going into the unknown, if he clears away from that right hand he has a chance.

Is going to stand right in front of Wilder, not moving his head, like the sparring partner he is/was. What's the date of the Wilder vs Ruiz fight?

Helenius is working overtime at the academy for the dramatic arts.

It will be hard to top Malik Scott's Oscar-winning scene.

Helenius has looked good his last couple fights but would normally be one of the bums thrown at wilder during his title run. So we'll see

This is an intriguing fight. Helenius has shown some nice improvement with some solid fundamentals. The problem is that he is up against a guy within insane power who is coming off of a few fights where he likely learned a considerable amount. It certainly is a tall order and he moves to the top of the heap if he wins. I couldn’t imagine a situation where it goes the distance.

The thing many boxing fans miss is that Helenius was fighting injured for years.
Now, with that behind him, I expect him to turn in a career best performance,
no matter what happens here. IMO, Wilder isn't the boogeyman anymore... Fury
has shown the formula to beat him. So we will see how things go. I expect a great fight.
